Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has named Argentine captain Lionel Messi as his best footballer of all time.

This was when he mounted the hot seat on the Official Matchday Programme in the UK.

Asked who his best sportsperson of all time is, the West Ham United player said: “In football, I would say Lionel Messi. In other sports, I think Usain Bolt.”

He was also asked which player he pretended to be when he was a kid.

“Thiago Alcântara, when he was playing for Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Before that, it was Jay Jay Okocha.”

Kudus also answered other questions on his favourite song and its lyrics, the best thing about living around London, his favourite movie ever and the best moment in football so far, among others.

“Winning the Eredivisie in Amsterdam for the first time in 2021 was very special,” he said about the last one.

“We played to win trophies with Ajax, so to do so was a good memory for me. I was only young and that was the first trophy I won, so it was special.”
