In a heartwarming display of gratitude and honour, Akoma 87.9FM’s much-anticipated Mother’s Celebration is currently underway, drawing hundreds of mothers from all walks of life to its premises.
The event is a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to community and family values.
This year’s celebration is being held in partnership with some sponsors’ collaboration to bring both joy and health awareness to the teeming mothers who made time to the premises.
As part of the activities, a free health screening is being conducted at the premises, providing mothers with vital health checks and education, with a special focus on cervical cancer where mothers are being given free screening.
Cooking competition among women groups is also taking place at the event.
The participating groups include: Christian Mother’s Association of Ghana, Church Women Fellowships, Muslim Women Association of Ghana, Kejetia Dubai Beads Association, among others.
There will be more of activities to entertain the women and lot of awards from “our” sponsors to deserving groups and individuals.
The air is filled with joy, music, and laughter as mothers gather not only to be celebrated but also to connect, share stories, and uplift one another.
The General Manager of Akoma FM, Ransford Nana Osei Asare, commended the mothers for their unwavering support and dedication to their children.
He observed that the free health screening initiative is aimed at promoting their well-being and strengthening them for the vital roles they play in society.
