President John Dramani Mahama has unveiled a series of significant appointments to his office.
These strategic changes aim to bolster the Presidency’s capacity to address Ghana’s pressing challenges.
Among the key appointments, Mrs. Joyce Bawah Mogtari has been named Presidential Adviser & Special Aide to the President, a role critical to supporting the President’s agenda.
Additionally, Stanislav Xoese Dogbe and Nana Oye Bampoe Addo have been appointed as Deputy Chiefs of Staff, with Dogbe overseeing operations and Bampoe Addo handling administrative functions.
Economic stability remains a top priority for the Mahama administration, with Seth Emmanuel Terkper stepping in as Presidential Adviser on the Economy. Professor Francis Dodoo has been tasked with leading anti-corruption efforts as the Presidential Adviser for the National Anti-Corruption Programme.
On the diplomatic front, Larry Gbevlo-Lartey has been named Special Envoy to the Alliance of Sahelian States, a position aimed at strengthening Ghana’s regional influence.
Other appointees include Nana Yaa Jantuah and Beatrice Annangfio as Presidential Staffers, Shamima Muslim as Deputy Presidential Spokesperson, and Professor Kwaku Danso-Boafo as Cabinet Secretary, who will play a vital role in coordinating government operations.
President Mahama expressed confidence in his new team, describing them as highly qualified individuals with the expertise and dedication needed to drive Ghana’s progress.
“These appointments reflect our commitment to delivering effective leadership and advancing the nation’s development agenda,” he stated.
