President John Dramani Mahama has expressed appreciation to the Director for the Kente Museum in Moscow for his effective management of the firm.
Speaking during a visit to the Kente museum, President Mahama noted that the only way to consolidate people-to-people relationships is to understand each other’s cultures.
He was also appreciative that the Ghana Export Promotions Authority together with its partners has been able to establish the Kente exhibition in Moscow.
Statistics available at the museum so far indicate that almost 11,000 people have come to see the exhibition.
According to President Mahama, he was happy to note that all the explanations have been translated into Russian, and so those who do not understand the Adinkra symbols and all the other exhibits in the museum can read and understand.
