President-elect John Dramani Mahama has assured of working both within and outside the confines of West Africa to serve the interest of Ghanaians.
He says he will achieve this by partnering the various leadership of the subregion and the continent as a whole to foster strong relationships.
Mahama made the remarks on his Facebook Tuesday, December 24, 2024, after meeting with three different Presidents from West Africa.
He expressed the need to build a relationship that will not be only beneficial to their respective nations but to their citizens as well.
“I just wrapped up an incredible visit with the Presidents of Equatorial Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and Gabon as part of my commitment to fostering strong relationships with our geographical neighbours and friends in West Africa and on the continent.
“My discussions with the various leaders reaffirmed our shared values and aspirations for progress across the continent. Our conversations touched on exploring opportunities for collaboration in trade, security, and sustainable development, ensuring that our partnerships benefit not only our nations but the people we serve.
“I will continue to work both within and outside our subregion towards a brighter, more prosperous future for our youth and the vulnerable,” he posted.
