Former President John Dramani Mahama has accused the current government of damaging the country’s economy beyond repairs.
In the second day of his Greater Accra Regional tour, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer said the damage that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has caused to the country will take 10 to 20 years to repair.
Mr Mahama said at the time he was president, a gallon of petrol was GHS14 as compared to the current price of over GHS70.
The NDC flagbearer also mentioned how the Cedi to the dollar was GHS4 in his time to the current GHS16 to $1.
He has, therefore, appealed to the Ghanaians to vote out the NPP from office to serve as punishment for the damage they have plunged the country into.
