A man believed to be in his early twenties has been washed away by heavy tidal wave whilst defecating in the sea at Anomabo in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.
Reports indicate the young man who had visited Anomabo for a festival to said he enjoyed defecating at the shore due to the air that passes through his anus.
According to Onua News’ Nana Yaw Asare, he went a bit deeper than what anyone ordinarily thought he would be.
Whilst at it, a strong tidal wave came and swept him away.
Chief fisherman of the area, Nana Kwame Sankah, this wasn’t the first time such incident was happening.
Nana Sankah says they are going to pour a libation to cleanse to pacify the sea gods to release the body to them.
Scores of fishermen are still on the sea searching for the body as at the time this report was being filed.
The case has been reported to the Anomabo Police Station for investigation.
