On the evening of Friday, October 21, 2022, a man believed to be in his mid 20s was found killed and dumped in front of the Mankessim Police station.

Eyewitnesses tell Accra-based Kasapa FM’s Yaw Boagyan the body was dumped by three men in a moving vehicle off the Mankessim Ajumako highway.

The deceased is according to residents is not known in the area.

Some eyewitnesses say they thought the person was mentally derailed when he dropped from the moving taxi in front of the police station but later realized he was sane.

The residents say they could not note the registration number of the taxi which had the three men onboard.

The remains had a handkerchief tied to the neck which is suspected to be what they used to squeeze his life out of him.

The deceased had a bag which contained a toothbrush, sponge, safety boot, shirt, and a Malta Guinness drink.

The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the Saltpond Government Hospital Mortuary whilst the Mankessim Police have commenced investigations into the killing.
