Mother of three-year-old boy who lost his life in a car crash involving actor Lil Win has expressed her dissatisfaction over the incident.

In a video posted on Instagram, the mother of the deceased boy lamented the neglect of her husband and son after the incident while the attention was solely on Lil Win.

According to her, Lil Win’s haste to proceed with his movie premiere at the KNUST auditorium caused him to neglect her son and husband even after he was discharged from the hospital and did not show concern for the victims.

“At the hospital, I was waiting for them and saw McBrown and Wayoosi, among others. If you’ve recovered, at least check on the other victims.

“But instead, you hurried to your movie premiere without showing any concern for them. It’s incredibly painful because my child means everything to me, and his actions were wrong,” she said in the video on Instagram.

However, Weezy Empire, the management of Lil Win has rejected accusations of neglecting the three-year-old boy and his father.

Providing update on the incident in a press statement issued on May 28, Lil Win expressed his condolences to the bereaved family of the three-year-old boy for the tragic loss of their son.

The statement denounced accusations of neglecting the victims explaining that Weezy Empire was “unclear about the extent of damage from the accident” as they were also attending to Lil Win, his manager and bouncer who suffered life-threatening injuries from the accident.

“As much as we are saddened and traumatised, we find unwarranted allegations of neglect on our part as speculated by some commentators very distasteful and disturbing at this troubling time,” excerpts of the statement on Instagram read.

Before the premiere of his movie titled “A Country Called Ghana’, in Kumasi, Lil Win and some members of his team were involved in a gory accident on Saturday, May 25 that led to the death of a 3-year-old boy.

The father of the deceased was also hospitalised and treated for a fractured leg. He has since been discharged and recovering.
