Bibiani Goldstars SC goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi has made known his dream of playing outside the shores of Ghana.

He said he has no intentions of playing for another local club.

Speaking in an interview on Onua Sports Center on Onua FM on Tuesday, June 17, Kobi, however, admitted that conditions at his current club are satisfying.

“My dream is to leave the Ghana Premier League and go ply my trade in another country,” he said.

“I don’t dream leaving Goldstars and signing for another club,” he added.

“I think Goldstars I am with has good financial treatment and I can say it is 100 percent but comparing to other countries, things are far ahead than here and you know every player’s target is to get money and help his family.”

Kobi, who moved from Bofoakwa Tano FC to the eventual league champions, was adjudged the safest pair of hands in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

He came tops after keeping 18 clean sheets, one more than Hearts of Oak and Black Stars’ Benjamin Asare.

He was named by supporters of Bibiani Goldstars as their Player of the Season after conceding only 19 in 32 games played.
