The newly elected Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwadaso, Eric Assibey, has vowed to prioritize the development of the municipality over partisan interests.

He assured residents of his commitment to completing ongoing projects before initiating new ones, aiming to bridge the area’s development gaps.

Eric Assibey, a former assembly member, secured an overwhelming endorsement as the MCE after all 22 elected assembly members and government appointees voted “Yes” to confirm him on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

Grateful for the unanimous support, Mr. Assibey pledged to unite stakeholders in accelerating development for the municipality.

“My focus is on Kwadaso’s progress and I will collaborate with all leaders – past and present – to complete stalled projects and deliver tangible results for our people.”

One of the contenders in the MCE race and NDC Constituency Chairman Issah Moro promised to support the new leader.

“I’m ready to work with the MCE for the betterment of our community and the NDC party”.

Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, Professor Kingsley Nyarko, emphasized the need for collaboration.

“Unity is key to progress. I look forward to working closely with the MCE to address the needs of our people and drive sustainable growth.”

With the political battle settled, residents now await tangible action; hoping the new leadership will deliver long-awaited development to Kwadaso.
