The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA), has revealed what he describes as two emerging camps in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency elections in the region.

In a Facebook post, on Monday, October 26,2026, COKA mentioned that his close monitoring of the electoral process had revealed the emergence of the “Enough Is Enough” camp and “Team Reset.”

He suggested that the significance of the two groups might not be immediately apparent to people unfamiliar with the internal dynamics of the NDC.

“The uninitiated won’t understand this,” he wrote, while raising questions about the individuals leading the two camps and the interests they represent in the party’s internal elections.

Mr Appiah charged observers to identify the key figures behind the two groups and determine what they stand for in the ongoing constituency-level electoral contests.

“The question is: Who are the key leaders behind these two camps, and what do they represent in the party’s internal elections? Time will tell,” he said.

Although he identified the two camps, COKA did not name their alleged leaders or provide further details about their respective positions, leaving the identities of the key actors and the precise interests they represent unclear.

His comments bring attention to the internal political dynamics surrounding the NDC’s constituency elections in the Ashanti Region, where local contests can influence party organisation, leadership, and the balance of influence ahead of future political engagements.

Mr Appiah ended his statement with the expression “Asanteman COKA, I care,” reinforcing his stated interest in the political developments.

However, the identities of the individuals behind the “Enough Is Enough” and “Team Reset” camps, as well as the extent of their influence in the NDC’s internal electoral process, remain to be established.
