Speaking exclusively to TV3’s Komla
Klutse, George Opare Addo says he was duly elected and since he has not been served with any injunction, the focus, is to work and secure power for the party in 2024.

“I won the election fair and squarely. The Electoral Commission duly declared the results and called the election for me so I’m working. I’ve started work already.

“The way forward is to work hard and win power for the NDC. I’ve not been served any injunction. Injunctions are served to parties. They are not served in the media. As a lawayer I’m law abiding, once I’ve not been served, I don’t see why I should not be sworn-in. The party has sworn me in. If there is an injunction, we’ll cure it,” he indicated.

He expressed his willingness to work with all who will avail themselves for the party’s work and subsequent victory.

“We have a new national chairman, we are bringing on board everybody so everybody who contested is part of the NDC. Whilst you’re willing to avail yourself to work, we will work with you,” he noted.
