The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has suspended its ongoing vetting exercise in the Krowor Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.
The party disclosed this in a press release issued by the National Secretariat on Saturday, September 27, 2026.
According to the statement, the suspension takes immediate effect.
It said the vetting exercise has been rescheduled to take place at the National Headquarters of the party on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
The release, signed by the Acting Director of Elections, Mahdi Gibrill, directed all aspirants, stakeholders and relevant party officials to take note of the new arrangement and comply accordingly.
It added that any further information or directive in respect of the exercise will be communicated as and when necessary.
