Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, the outgoing Minority Leader, has assured Ghanaians of the incoming NDC administration’s quest to serve them in humility and integrity.
Ato Forson, in a Facebook post Monday, December 16, 2024, whilst thanking Ghanaians for the massive support given them during Saturday’s polls said the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration will serve them responsibly and diligently.
Reiterating what President-elect Mahama and other leaders of the NDC have been saying after the December 07 polls, the Ejumako Enyan Essiam Member of Parliament said they won’t abuse the super majority Ghanaians have given them.
He took to his Facebook following Parliament’s first sitting after taking a long break from the ensued impasse which resulted from the vacant seats controversy, and after the general elections, to express appreciation to the voting population and what Ghanaians should expect from them.
The former Deputy Finance Minister also expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for their role in voting for the NDC and expressed the party’s resolve to remain accountable and transparent to them.
According to him, the NDC fully understands the responsibility entrusted to them and will work tirelessly to uphold it.
He further emphasised that the incoming NDC government will respect the people by rejecting impunity and greed.
Dr Ato Forson highlighted the party’s vision of a governance style that prioritises the well-being of citizens while promoting fairness, justice, and development.
“We will not betray your trust; we will serve with humility and integrity,” he stated.
