Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, a former General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has lost his mother, Comfort Agyepong.
Madam Agyepong’s husband is among the judges who were abducted and murdered in 1981.
Forty-four (44) years after the gruesome murder of his father, the 2024 flag bearer aspirant of the NPP has announced the demise of his mother.
In a Facebook post, Mr. Agyepong described his late mother as “a pillar of strength, love, and resilience.”
“She now rests with my father, Justice Kwadwo Agyei Agyepong,” he added, also stating that details of her burial and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
