The National Service Authority (NSA) has introduced a military pre-deployment option for prospective National Service personnel.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and signed by the NSA Director Felix Gyamfi, the Authority announced that the pilot phase will commence this year.

As part of this initiative, applicants must indicate their willingness to participate during the online registration process. The final postings will be made to user agencies after the military orientation.

“In line with the introduction of a six-week Basic Military Training as part of national service, the NSA will deploy a limited number of graduates from the 2025/2026 cohort for participation in the pilot phase of this programme.

“Interested applicants may indicate their willingness to participate during the online registration process. Final postings to user agencies will occur after the military orientation is complete, ensuring that no participant forfeits their work placement due to participation in this phase,” the NSA said.

Like the general national service exercise, registration for the military pre-deployment program opens on June 17, 2025, and closes on July 1, 2025.

“All eligible applicants are advised to complete their registration within the stated period and make use of available support resources for a smooth enrolment experience,” the NSA emphasized.

Meanwhile, the NSA has released PIN codes for 132,393 prospective national service personnel for the 2025/2026 service year.

To enhance transparency and security in the registration process, two new features have been introduced such as Facial Biometric Verification and Verified Address Input.

These measures aim to streamline enrolment and improve identity verification.
