Black Stars striker Jordan Ayew has made a move from Crystal Palace FC to Leicester City FC in the English Premier League.

The deal was announced by the former champions on Friday, August 23.

It spans two years, subject to the Football Association and Premier League approval.

The EPL returnees will be the fourth side Ayew will be playing for in the English top-flight.

He previously played for Aston Villa, Swansea City and, until his move, Crystal Palace.

”I’m very happy to be here and I’m proud,” the Ghanaian striker said.

”I want to thank the club as they fought hard to bring me here – it happened quickly and I’m so happy to be here.

”As a player, when you hear that the manager wants you, it just makes you want to come and work under him and to try to improve.

“Even though I’m 32, as a player you always want to learn and improve. I’m here to work hard and help the team achieve their targets.”

Jordan is joining up with Black Stars teammate Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.

He is expected to join the Foxes’ trip to Craven Cottage on Saturday.
