Multiple road crashes along the Gomoa Fetteh stretch of the Kasoa – Mankessim highway in the Gomoa East district of the Central region has claimed one life. 

The same incidents have rendered six others in critical condition.

The deceased, identified as 23-year-old Elvis Antwi from Agona Kwesi-Twikrom, reportedly died after his motorbike collided with a commercial Urvan vehicle with registration number GN 4754-19 near Hope Village Hospital.

The others, while on their way to the beach on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026, got involved in separate crashes along the same stretch.

Seth Kpeye, a driver, who spoke on Accra-based Adom FM said the collision occurred in a flash, leaving several people with varying degrees of injuries.

The injured have since been rushed to various nearby health facilities for medical attention.
