Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo has named 23 players for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
Otto Addo unveiled his squad at a press briefing on Thursday, August 29 in Accra.
Among returnees to the squad are Athletic Club’s Iñaki Williams and LA Galaxy’s Joseph Paintsil.
Some players including French-based Salis Abdul Samed and Ernest Nuamah have been excluded due to injury.

Below is the 23-man squad:
Goalkeepers: Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Joseph Wollacott and Frederick Asare
Defenders: Alidu Seidu, Tariq Lamptey, Alexander Djiku, Abdul Mumin, Mohammed Salisu, Jerome Opoku, Ebenezer Annan and Kingsley Schindler.
Midfielders: Mohammed Kudus, Francis Abu, Thomas Partey, Elisha Owusu and Majeed Ashimeru.
Forwards: Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Joseph Paintsil, Ibrahim Osman, Antoine Semenyo, Iñaki Williams, Brandon Thomas-Asante and Jordan Ayew.
The Black Stars will play Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, September 5 before embarking on a trip to Morocco to play Niger on Monday, September 9.
According to the Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, the called-up players will start arriving this weekend.
“We expect to have a full house on Tuesday, September 3.”
