The much touted “Hands Off Our Hotels’ demonstration championed by the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, is underway.
The protesters started from the Labadi Beach Hotel and La Palm Royal Beach Hotel along the La Teshie road. They are going through the Giffard Road to the Switch Back road where they will converge on the premises of Christ The King Church.
They expect President Akufo-Addo to receive their petition.
The demonstration is against the sale of 4 hotels belonging to the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) to the Minister of Food and Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong.
