Togbe Agbeshi Awusu, the Warlord of the Anlo state has said the opening prayer to officially commence the grand durbar of the Hogbetsotso 2022 festival.
The durbar, which has bright together many chiefs and kings from different kingdoms and paramountcies, including the Asantehene, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The colourful durbar has a lot of rich cultural elements to display, considering the the artifacts and other things on the grounds.
The Overlord of the Anlo State, the Awɔmefia Togbe Sri II is in state with his chiefs and elders, awaiting the arrival of the Asantehene at the durbar.
The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II has also arrived with his entourage.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will also grace the occasion.
A Muslim and Christian prayers were also said.
