Information reaching OnuaOnline indicate a serious accident has occurred at Bogoso township in the Prestea Huni Valley Municipality of the Western Region.
Reports indicate the chains of a timber truck passing through the town tore, making the logs fall on marketers and some vehicles at the scene.
Reports say it is a market day in the town bringing many people from from far and near to trade in various forms of business activities.
The number of casualties has not been confirmed yet.
