The Minister-designate for Labour, Jobs and Employment, Dr. Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, has taken his turn at the ongoing vetting by the Appointments Committee of Parliament.

He is expected to be vetted with seven other ministers-designate, today, Thursday, January 30, 2025.

Although a communique issued by Parliament indicated that Dr. Pelpuo’s vetting would commence at 8am, it started at 10:30am.

Following him will be Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister-designate for Environment, Science, and Technology.

That of the Communications Minister-designate, Samuel Nartey George, will follow suit, before Kofi Iddie Adams, the Minister-designate for Sports and Recreation follows.

The committee will then take a break, after which the Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, will take place.

Joseph Bukari Nikpe, Issifu Seidu and Charity Gardiner who are Minister-designate for Transport, Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability and Minister Designate for the Ahafo Region respectively, to follow in that order.
