The Appointments Committee of Parliament has commenced the vetting of the three ministers-designate named by President John Dramani Mahama.
Leading the Committee is the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament who is also the lawmaker for Akatsi South, Bernard Ahiafor, with leadership of the Majority and Minority all representing.
The Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan-Essiam, Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, who has been designated as the Minister of Finance, is the first to take his turn before John Abdulai Jinapor and Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, takes their turns for their nominations to head the Energy and Attorney-General and Justice Ministries respectively.
