National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has given Ghanaians a reason why they should not consider Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the December elections.
For failing to fulfill the numerous promises made to the citizenry in 2020, the NDC National Chairman thinks that is enough grounds to reject him.
Addressing residents of Mamfe in the Akuapem North constituency of the Eastern region Monday, August 26, 2024, as part of his tour to the region, he stated that the Vice President has nothing new to offer Ghanaians.
He described him as a ‘serial liar’, saying he is only lying his way to power and cannot fulfill the promises stated in his manifesto.
Asiedu Nketia added that Bawumia will only continue the abysmal performance of the current administration having promised Okada riders vehicles during the 2020 electioneering period and failing to deliver same.
“Bawumia promised to give vehicles to motor riders in place of motors, ask him if he delivered. Where are the vehicles? He couldn’t deliver on the 2020 manifesto promises. Reject Bawumia and the NPP outright during the 2024 general elections. He will not deliver on his promise,” he stated.
