It is further alleged that the suspect, Opoku, has claimed to be the next prophet and national leader of the African Faith Tabernacle Church after the demise of his uncle.

Meanwhile, church elders and trustees believe the church constitution frowns on such deed and cannot hold himself as the successor of the late Prophet.

One Kwabena Oduro, son of the late Prophet reported the case to the Anyinam Police station for apprehension and prosecution of the suspect.

The acting national leader of the Church, Prophet Stephen Frimpong, has called on the police to ensure there is peace even as they deal with the delicate matter.
