There was impressive voter turnout across polling centers in all 17 constituencies in the Western Region during the special voting exercise on Thursday, December 5.
Figures from the polling stations indicate an average voter turnout of 85 percent. Amenfi East recorded the highest turnout at 95 percent, while Kwesimentsim registered the lowest at 73.6 percent.
The exercise was generally described as successful, with isolated reports of voter inducement claims in Shama and Effia.
