The Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Dr Stephen Amoah aka ‘Stika’, has declared 2023 and beyond insecurity-free for Nhyiaeso constituency.
He, together with the traditional authority, have also warned armed robbers terrorising people in the area to find new place for their business.
The Nhiaeso MP has responded to calls for crime check in the area after criminals have besieged the constituency.
A couple of people have lost their lives in the area via armed robbery over some period now.
The MP has formed a Central Security Committee in the constituency amid security beef up with a provision of a Toyota Hilux vehicle for daily patrol in the area, following the rampant robberies recorded in the constituency.
He was confident the move was going to improve security in the area.
“My constituency is now becoming number one in the region in terms of robbery and insecurity. As an MP, I can`t have my peace and it`s a great concern to me,” he recounted.
He said he was going to address the menace of the youth’s involvement in drugs which is ridding the constituency off its human capital.
Dr. Amoah entreated all stakeholders to help abate the social vices crippling the communities.
