On Monday, 3rd November 2025, the Sunyanimanhene, Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen KorKor II, enstooled and elevated a number of sub-chiefs within the Sunyani Traditional Area.
The colourful traditional ceremony was held at Nana Bosomah Asor Nkrawi II royal Palace and was witnessed by divisional and sub-chiefs, queen mothers, elders, and people of the Sunyani Traditional Area.

During the ceremony, the following chiefs received elevations and enstoolments:
1. Nana Osei Kyeretwie Duako, Adomakohene — Elevated to Dompemhene of the Sunyani Traditional Area.
2. Nana Addai Munumkum Korang, Sunyanitifihene — Elevated to Werempemhene of the Sunyani Traditional Area.
3. Nana Atta Kofi Amponsah — Enstooled as Mponuahene of the Sunyani Traditional Area.
4. Nana Antwi Fosu Gyamekoduru II — Enstooled as Asokwahene of the Sunyani Traditional Area.
5. Nana Yaw Anim Brew — Installed as Omanhene Ntakrahene.

In his address, Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen KorKor II charged the newly elevated and enstooled chiefs to serve with integrity, humility, and respect for tradition, urging them to keep families united. He urged them to make cleanliness and environmental sustainability a top priority within their respective jurisdictions.
The Sunyanimanhene also cautioned the chiefs against the indiscriminate sale of lands and the engagement in illegal mining (galamsey) activities. He further admonished them to protect and preserve the river bodies and natural resources within the Sunyani Traditional Area.
