At Kakpayili, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region, bodies of eight (8) missing children have been identified by the police at the residence of a suspected ritualist.

The man, according to reports, is suspected of having a hand in the kidnapping of some reported missing children in the community.

According to TV3’s Northern Regional correspondent, Christopher Amoako, the man was dragged to the chief of the area when suspicions grew that he had a hand in the whereabouts of the missing children.

The police were invited to conduct a search in his house where six (6) bodies were discovered in a locked room.

Two other bodies were later discovered in an abandoned Opel vehicle in his house.

The suspect is currently in the grips of the police with his family, assisting in investigation.
