The Metropolitan Chief Executive of Tamale, Abu Takoro, has began engaging stakeholders in various electoral areas in the Metropolis aimed at fortifying collaboration between the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly (TaMA) and the residents.

The engagement also provides a platform for direct interaction to discern development priorities, concerns, and practical solutions to extant challenges.

Areas such as Datoyoli and Gumbihini have since been engaged.

The MCE, Takoro, during the engagements, reaffirmed his commitment to building an inclusive, responsive, and progressive metropolis, driven by participatory governance and community involvement for sustainable development.

“Through these engagements, I aim to bridge the governance gap, ensuring the Assembly’s policies are responsive to the genuine needs and aspirations of the residents.”

“I extend my profound gratitude to Hon. Prof. Alidu Seidu Mahama, Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, for his unwavering support and cooperation. Furthermore, I am delighted to announce that he will be joining me at the forthcoming community engagement in the Gumbihini South Electoral Area,” he added.
