Elijah Kwame Owusu Danso, newly nominated as the Vice-Presidential candidate for Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen’s independent presidential campaign, has vowed to work relentlessly to ensure victory in the upcoming 2024 elections.

Owusu Danso, who will run on the ticket of the Movement for Change and Alliance for Revolutionary Change, expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity and pledged to devote himself fully to the cause.

In his official statement today, Owusu Danso expressed his sincere appreciation to Kyerematen for entrusting him with such a vital role in the campaign. He emphasized that the real work begins now, with his primary focus being on mobilizing support across the nation to secure their place in Ghana’s highest office.

“This is not just a moment of honour for me, but a call to action. I am fully committed to working tirelessly, alongside Alan Kyerematen, to ensure that our vision for a transformed Ghana is realized. We are in this to win, and I will give my all to make that happen,” Owusu Danso declared.

He emphasized that his partnership with Kyerematen was borne out of a shared passion for change and the desire to create a brighter future for all Ghanaians. Owusu Danso reiterated his determination to work around the clock, bringing the message of hope, possibility, and national transformation to every corner of the country.

“We must leave no stone unturned in our effort to bring about the political and economic transformation that Ghanaians deserve. I am committed to campaigning relentlessly, engaging with the youth, professionals, and ordinary citizens alike to ensure Alan Kyerematen is elected as President,” he added.

Owusu Danso’s selection as the Vice Presidential candidate is seen as a strategic move to bolster Kyerematen’s non-partisan, reform-focused campaign. Kyerematen, who parted ways with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to run independently, has been positioning himself as a fresh alternative to traditional party politics, seeking to unite Ghanaians around a common vision.

According to Owusu Danso, this movement represents a pivotal moment in Ghana’s history, and he is prepared to lead the charge to victory. He expressed his resolve to engage in vigorous, on-the-ground efforts to spread their message of hope and change across the nation.

“Our mission is clear: to build a government of national unity that will deliver on its promises and transform our nation for the better. I will work day and night to ensure that every Ghanaian understands this vision and rallies behind Alan Kyerematen. There is no turning back, and I will not rest until we achieve success,” he affirmed.

With the 2024 elections drawing near, Owusu Danso’s commitment to a tireless campaign is expected to energize Kyerematen’s bid for the presidency, as they work to garner widespread support for their vision of a transformed Ghana.
