The University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) does not have a blood bank, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the Member of Parliament for Juaboso, has alleged.
He says he was shocked after being told of the situation, adding that one had to arrange for blood from a different facility before being administered if the need be.
He was speaking on Onua FM’s Pae Mu Ka Friday, March 22, 2024, when he made the revelation.
The visibly worried Ranking Member on Parliament’s Health Committee resolved on the show that the state is joking with the health industry.
