Ghana’s Vice President, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has expressed her Eid Mubarak wishes to the Muslim community in the country.
In a statement issued on her Facebook Monday, March 31, 2025, the Vice President acknowledged the dedication of the Muslim community to Ghana’s development.
In the statement, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang conveyed her gratitude to those in the Islamic faith and appreciated their values which have led to the sacrifices they have made to the nation.
According to her, their values and sacrifices do not enrich Ghana alone, but the world as a whole.
“On this blessed occasion, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your families. Your dedication, values, and contributions enrich our nation and the world. May this celebration bring you joy, peace, and renewed strength,” portions of her statement contained.
She went ahead to express gratitude to the general public for sharing in her sentiments by wishing her speedy recovery upon the announcement of her illness over the weekend, emphasising the importance of unity and harmony among all communities in the country.
“Likewise, I would like to say thank you to everyone for the kind sentiments and well wishes this weekend,” she stated.
