Two young men have been arrested by the Weija District Police Command off the Mallam – Kasoa road at the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.
The two, are suspected to be ritual murderers after a fresh male human head was discovered from their vehicle which has had an accident.
They were arrested at Kasoa where their vehicle had an accident and later transferred to the Weija District Command.
According to Onua TV/FM’s roving reporter, Akua Sarpomaa, the suspects were three but one fled the moment the police opened the vehicle sensing the impending danger.
The two are currently being interrogated by the police.
Confirming the incident to Sarpomaa, Weija District Commander, Chief Supt. Freeman Kumashie said the two have neither confessed they are the culprits nor know the origin of the head that has blood oozing from it.
The head has since been deposited at the morgue whilst interrogation continues.
