A video going viral on social media has got netizens talking after the ransom dissipated for participants of a Pro-Alan group health walk in Kumasi turned chaos.
In the said video, some persons found in printed T-shirts with image of Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, a flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 general election, were agitating over being shortchanged in the booty given them after participating in the event.
Identified on a VIP bus, one woman who couldn’t hide her frustrations narrated the ordeal she underwent over the past 24 hours, sacrificing her wards welfare for a health walk only to be given a paltry GH₵50.00 afterwards.
Even though indicated by the groups organisers that the event was being carried out in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi, an announcement was made for party faithful and fanatics of Mr. Kyerematen from the other regions, particularly from the Greater Accra as images and posts identified on social media indicate, to attend.
The woman who spoke and vented her spleen on whoever that distributed that GH₵50.00 to them threatened to show Alan during the primaries for the flagbearership.
