Captain Smart says the opposition National Democratic Congress is better in governance than the ruling New Patriotic Party.
His reason is based on the recent economic hardship that has made life unbearable for many Ghanaians.
According to him, “if a government takes over from another and they are not able to maintain prices of goods and services or make them come down but rather go up, it means the government is not led by wise men.”
Captain Smart says the NPP’s poor leadership has resulted in the continuous depreciation of the Ghana Cedi leading to inflation and its associated problems.
He was speaking based on the shops closure in the Ashanti region which traders say is based on the Ghana Revenue Authority’s new tax collection approach as well as the dollar which has been sinking the Cedi since the NPP took over.
