Ghana Premier League side Vision FC have announced the death of player Habib Ganiu.
The sad incident was announced on Tuesday, June 10.
It is unclear what the cause of death is but the club took to its official X page to express condolences to the bereaved family.
“We are greatly saddened to announce the passing of our player Habib Ganiu,” Vision FC, who played in the top-flight league for the first time in the just-ended season, announced.
“All at the club send our heartfelt condolences to Habib’s family and friends in this difficult moment.”
Habib Ganiu is known to have captained Vision FC in their final season in Division One as they gained promotion to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
