Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has advised his fans ahead of the December 7 elections, urging them to make informed voting decisions.

The ‘Killa Ji Mi’ singer made this call during his performance at the just ended Ghana Report Concert at Independence Square.

Shatta Wale stopped his lively performance to speak with his supporters, advising them to exercise caution and not make hasty decisions when casting their ballots.

He cautioned his supporters not to fall for political gimmicks and hollow promises that political parties frequently use to sway voters.

“If you’re going to vote, please be wise about it. Don’t fall for any fanfooling. I don’t want you to vote for some party and later come complaining. Vote wisely,” he said.

Shatta Wale, who has maintained a politically neutral stance over the years, urged his fans to assess the track records and policies of political leaders before casting their votes.

He urged them to make decisions that would benefit the country and not just follow the crowd or be swayed by superficial promises.
