The police have arrested three more Chinese, six Ghanaians and retrieved three excavators in the Western Region through an anti-galamsey swoop.
Three pump action guns were also retrieved from the nine persons.
The arrest comes after five Chinese were arrested yesterday concerning two excavators that got missing few days ago.
The District Chief Executive of Ellembelle, Kwasi Bonzo, and four others have been arrested and granted police enquiry bail after the DCE is said to have intercepted the transportation of one of the machines to the Western Regional Police Command in Takoradi.
