Mohammed Abudi, a resident of Guli in the Wa municipality of the Upper West region has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment for defiling a 13-year-old girl.
Abudi committed the Crime on Friday, April 11, 2025 and got apprehended two days later –Sunday, April 13, –through proactive policing effort.
A statement issued by the Public Affairs Unit of the Upper West Regional Police Command on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, says Abudi pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared before the Wa Circuit Court presided over by His Lordship Jonathan Avoogo on April 23, 2025.
The statement further cautioned potential offenders to desist from such acts if they have any intentions of committing same.
