Onua TV’s morning show, Maakye, is this morning, Friday, August 02, 2024, being held at Ada in the Greater Accra Region as the first destination of the show’s festival train for 2024.
It is to prepare the grounds for the Asafotufiami festival which kick-starts today through to Monday, August 05, 2024.
The team, as part of its activities will hold the People’s Assembly where residents will present issues confronting them in the constituency to leaders of the community.
Duty bearers, made up of their representative in the Legislature as well as the government representative in the local assembly, –Member of Parliament and District Chief Executive respectively, –will come and address the concerns that would be raised by the residents.
The traditional authority will also be hosted to share their concerns and educate the public on the origin and significance of the celebration.
