Students of T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School will no longer move outside the campus in search of water.

The Water Company Limited has restored water supply to the school hours after a 3News reported of the challenge and its effect on the students.

Media General platforms on Thursday highlighted the struggles the senior high students had to go through to access water for bathing and other activities.

Students have since Monday been moving from one place to the other in search of water after they exhausted all the water stored in their reservoir.

They walked several kilometers to get water around Asokwa and beyond.

Ghana Water Company Limited officials blamed the distribution shortage on the recent intermittent power outages.

But management says the situation has been resolved and as at Thursday evening, water was running through the taps of the school.

Some of the students were grateful to Media General platforms for highlighting their plight, which they believe resulted in this swift response.
