The Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, is spending this year’s Christmas with his constituents and NDC grassroots executives in the Western North region.
He commenced the regional tour on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, visiting party executives of the Bibiani Anwhiaso Bekwai constituency.
The Minister then headed to Awaso and Sefwi Wiawso, where he interacted with constituency executives who heartily welcomed him with smiles and gestures of appreciation.
Akandoh also paid courtesy calls on opinion leaders, including the Western North Regional and some District Police Commands.
He then went to Sefwi Bodi, and conducted a meeting with constituency executives and visited the Bodi chief.
The tour continued on Thursday, December 25, with visits to Bia East and West constituencies. From Bia West, the team drove to Enchi via Juaboso, visited Dadieso, and headed to Akontombra. At Akontombra, he also paid a courtesy call on the chief.
After addressing the gathering in each constituency, the various chairmen welcomed him and shared the challenges they are facing, particularly in the health sector.
Akandoh then proceeded to Juaboso, his constituency, on Boxing Day, December 26, visiting the various branches to thank the executives for their commitment towards the party and nation as a whole.
Speaking with the media, the Minister cum MP said the tour was aimed at connecting with the grassroots members and wish them well, expressing optimism about the government’s ‘Better Ghana’ agenda to improve the lives of the citizenry.
“This Christmas, I’m spending it with the grassroots people of our party… I’m on the road, touching base with the people,” he stated, where he detailing his tour itinerary.
