Adamus Resources Limited has honoured 100 of the best students in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region who sat for the 2026t Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Each student received a chop box, 15 exercise books and pens.
The District Director of Education, Mr Wilfred Katey Adodoadji, described Adamus’ gesture as “the first of its kind in the whole district.”
“Such an extraordinary act of generosity will help considerably to alleviate the financial challenges of parents of the beneficiaries,” he added.
Mr Adodoadji expressed profound gratitude to Adamus for breaking new philanthropic ground with its handsome donation.
He suggested that such educational support be extended to cover the best 50 students in all 40 basic schools in the circuit. This would increase the number of beneficiary students from 100 to 400 every year.
The Senior Liaison Officer of Adamus Resources Limited, Mr Salifu Awumbilla, said the company places a special premium on laying a solid educational foundation for children in the area.
“Adamus will therefore not relent in doing everything within its resources to support schoolchildren in the Ellembelle District to excel,” he stressed.
Parents who witnessed the donation heaped praises on Adamus for the gesture, praying for God’s blessings for the company and its management.
“We thank Adamus for this support. This will go a long way to cushion parents in these difficult times of buying school items for our kids,” Madam Suzy Ackah-Blay stressed.
