New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma North, Nana Akua Owusu Afriyie is confident of victory tomorrow, Friday, as the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) conducts a rerun in 19 polling stations.
She is counting in the goodwill of the people of Ablekuma North to endorse her as the rightful winner of the December 7 elections.
Speaking on Nsem Titri on Onua TV Thursday, July 10, 2025, Akua Afriyie said there is nothing than victory for her after polls close on Friday.
“What God has written has been written,” she said.
“What will happen is that Akua Afriyie will emerge the winner.”
She likened herself as the light while calling the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its candidate, Ewurabena Aubynn, as darkness.
“The God of Israel will speak [and] justice will prevail,” she insisted.
So far, results from 262 polling stations from the December 7, 2024 polls have been collated and the difference between the two candidates is 48 votes.
Akua Owusu Afriyie leads by that number of votes.
