Ghanaian leaders should not be blamed for the challenges confronting the country anymore, Kofi Koranteng has asserted.

He argues it’s no fault of theirs that they can’t solve Ghana’s problems because they have no clue.

He says “we cannot make sense out of senselessness. I don’t think we need to blame them again. It’s not their fault. The fact is that the knowledge does not exist for them to use.”

The 2024 Independent Presidential Hopeful says rather than “an absolute phenomenon to serve”, Ghanaian leaders see leadership “as a temporary opportunity to exploit.”

Commenting on the ongoing Ghana card and SIM registration brouhaha Tuesday, August 2, 2022, he described the process as “an illegal transaction” and expected the Interior Ministry to have halted the process.

He berated Ursula Owusu’s approach to the registration challenges and the manner with which she announced the deadline extension, amid the illegality of the process and the Minority’s carefree approach to the entire development.

“Before coming out to say anything, you must consider the consequences first. It is an illegal transaction. The Ministry of the Interior should have stopped this process. Why should you order your citizens to submit their details to a private company? The opposition should be able to stop this transaction,” he ranted on Onua TV’s morning show, ‘Maakye’.

He asserts further that the Minority “have outgrown your usefulness as opposition. This is a national security threat.”
