Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NDC, Andrew Augustus Nana Akwasi has hit back at the Ashanti Regional Chair of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, aka Wontumi for alleging he (Wontumi) meddled in the just ended NDC regional election.
Over 1,400 NDC delegates on Sunday November, 13, converged at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to elect new executives to steer the party’s affairs.
Wontumi in a radio interview Wednesday, November 16, 2022, alleged he ‘infiltrated’ the current NDC executives, something Nana Akwasi did not take lightly.
In retaliation, Nana Akwasi described Wontumi as a “drunkard comedian who go on a bragging spree.”
He was hopeful “the new executives will double the work in 2020 which saw the ruling party lose the New Edubiase seat and also shot up the NDC’s gain in the Ashanti region” he told this portal.
Wontumi in a radio interview on Wednesday had alleged he has “infiltrated” the current NDC executives something, Nana Akwasi would not take kindly.
