During his address to the state Sunday, President Akufo-Addo said persons who spew fake news are going to be dealt with.
His comment stemmed from speculations on the market which he claims is causing the fall in the value of the Cedi.
Meanwhile, youth activist Ivan Innocent Kyei says “that particular call is a missed call.”
He says the Cedi is not being driven by the supposed speculation in town but rather too many people chasing few dollars whilst many are wielding the dollar without really needing is it.
He asserts stringent measures be adopted by the state to abate the dollarisation of the economy’
